Our Story
A New Chapter in
Barnsley
Taken over and opened in May 2026, The Royal Pub brings Mediterranean tapas dining to Barugh Green. Think patatas bravas, gambas pil pil, and plates made for the middle of the table — with a proper Yorkshire welcome.
From small plates and stone-baked flatbreads to fire-cooked chicken and charred lamb souvlaki, our kitchen draws on Spanish, Italian, and Greek flavours. Come for a few dishes and a drink, or settle in for the full share.
